Today we present to you a new article in our series about unusual weddings. After the underwater wedding, the las vegas wedding and the wedding in a castle, here is an article on marriage in weightlessness.
Historical
The first weightless wedding took place in June 2009, and it's about an American couple who got together "in the air".
Boeing has developed an aircraft called "Boeing zero gravity", in which the couple sat for 90 minutes, for a sum of $ 5,000 per person (count two lovebirds, the witnesses).
The plane creates weightlessness by making "jumps" suddenly in the air, which is why they are called parabolic flights. For English speakers, more details on Gozerog.com.
Budget and organization
You got it, it takes around $ 10,000 to get married in zero gravity (not counting the guests). A small surplus is to be included, since the mayor must join you!
Flights are available from Cape Canaveral or Miami (Florida), Washington DC, San Francisco (California) or Las Vegas (Nevada). Of course, flights should be booked well in advance. You can even combine a las vegas wedding and a flight weightless.
See you soon for new unusual wedding ideas!
